1. General Requirements

  • To rent an ATV or scooter, the driver must be at least 19 years old and hold a valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
  • To rent a car, the driver must be at least 21 years old, also with at least 1 year of driving experience.
  • A valid ID or passport is required.
  • For non-EU licenses, an International Driving Permit (IDP) may be required according to Greek law.

2. Rental Period & Extensions

  • The minimum rental period is 1 calendar day, regardless of the time of pickup.
  • Late returns without prior notice may result in additional charges.
  • Rental extensions must be requested in advance and are subject to availability.

3. Payment & Deposit

  • Full payment is required upon delivery of the vehicle.
  • No security deposit is required for any rental.
  • Online payments (credit/debit card, PayPal, etc.) are accepted upon request.

4. Fuel Policy

  • Vehicles are delivered with a specific fuel level and must be returned with the same level.
  • Any missing fuel will be charged based on current market prices.

5. Insurance & Liability

  • All rentals include basic third-party liability insurance.
  • Optional full coverage insurance (CDW/FDW) may be available at an additional cost.
  • The renter is financially responsible for any damage, theft, or loss not covered by the selected insurance plan.

6. Vehicle Use Restrictions

  • All vehicles must be used only on paved public roads.
  • Off-road driving is strictly prohibited, including with ATVs.
  • Vehicles must not be used for racing, towing, or any illegal activity.
  • Only registered drivers are permitted to operate the vehicle.
  • Helmets are mandatory for all scooters and ATVs, as per Greek law.

7. Roadside Assistance

  • We offer free 24/7 roadside assistance throughout the island of Zakynthos.
  • In the event of a breakdown or accident, the renter must contact us immediately using the provided emergency number.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

  • No refunds are provided for cancellations, no-shows, or early returns, regardless of reason.

9. Delivery & Pick-Up

  • Free delivery and pick-up is available in the following areas:
    • Laganas
    • Agios Sostis
    • Argassi
    • Vasilikos
    • Keri
    • Tsilivi
  • Delivery to other areas may be possible upon request with an additional fee.

10. Legal Terms

  • All rental agreements are governed by the laws of Greece.
  • By renting a vehicle from Zante Express Rentals, the customer accepts and agrees to all the above terms and conditions.
